SUPERVISION & CONSULTATION
I am an LICSW (licensed independent clinical social worker) in the state of Massachusetts and offer individual supervision for LCSWs working toward their LICSW, and individual consultation for those already independently licensed.
I supervise and consult across a broad range of topics while I’m most passionate about how clinical work intersects with social identity, power and privilege; systems of oppression and supremacy; the impact of interpersonal violence; queer identity; strategies for institutional challenges; transference and projection on the part of clinician and client; and the use of self-disclosure.
TRAINING & FACILITATION
I provide training to schools and agencies on topics intersecting with trauma-informed practices including interpersonal violence, identity development, strength & resilience, inclusivity and building trusting relationships with teens and young adults.
The consulting and training I provide can lead to protocols and guidelines that encourage more equitable support for you and your colleagues as well as those you serve. Additionally, I can take what’s generated through consultation and help you put it into practice – hands on, action-oriented.
NARRATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Whether you want to present on a panel or share at a story-slam event, the spoken word can facilitate the understanding and processing of an event, small or large. I can assist you with narrative style and development, appropriate and engaging for your intended audience.
Story-telling is a simple artform, and for many people a part of their cultural and family tradition. What is it you hope to convey through your story – is it compelling, funny, poignant? Working together, I’ll support you in the writing and presentation of your narrative.
